Sew for Africa

There will be a public sewing day for Philippines, public is invited to attend. Location Kona Paradise Clubhouse Kailua-Kona, Hawaii on April 27, 2012 from 9 am till 11:45 for more information you can contact  Betty at (808- 640-6587) If you have a sewing machine bring it with you. Get involved, help every girl to own at least one dress.:)

Yes you can send dresses to me. Where do you live? can I see maybe someone can pick you up..

FCE(Family, Community and Education) Council in Hilo, HI., has added ths projectic as an Intermaion event for this year. I have 32 dresses already and so far none are club members. Our church, St. Joseph, sent 125 of the dresses to the Philippines last year. I'm chairman of the project for this year. So glad Kailua-Kona is continueing this. I use to live there before Hilo. This is a great project, Kona is sending out dresses weekly now.. it's great seeing the children we are helping..

How was your workshop? Was your group written about in the Kailua-Kona news? We're planning another workshop for April, after Easter. Excited to ignite & activate women to serve through sewing!

No it was not in the paper it was a great day of sewing..where and when is your sewing day i am doing one in hilo april 1, 2012
