Dress a Girl Reaches out to Special Needs Children

Posted by Rachel Eggum Cinader on March 7, 2010 at 7:01 AM

Children are often hidden away –not allowed in public and these special needs children shame families. Our friends in India asked families of such children to allow them to come to the Oasis of Love on a daily basis.

Here they are loved and cared for and shown God’s love. If the families will not bring the children to the program—Oasis sends a bus to collect them.

We had the wonderful privilege of going to the forest with these children for a picnic. We laughed and played games and did crafts and dressed the girls in our pillowcase dresses☺ We gave the boys wooden cars.

I thank God that the Oasis doesn’t see these special, precious children as society’s cast-aways but sees them as special gifts from God. I posted some photos on the photo gallery and Hope 4 Kids International will be looking for sponsors for these angels so they can continue to attend the Oasis and become all that God has for them.
