Hi,

If the fabric scraps are still available and if you ship to CA, I will take them! A few Girl Scout troops in our area are getting together next month to sew dresses and could use them.

Thanks!

Lindsey, I am so sorry; they went out two days ago; however, the post above yours by June Gregory might mean she has some to offer! Give her a shout out! I will always post on this blog and on Dress A Girl - West Texas when I have scraps; you might want to "like" that page so you'll be one of the first to see it!

Hi,

How many boxes full do you want? If you are making the babies in the blankets I have a bunch of flannel squares that ate 7'X7". I don't know if that is big enough. I have lots of everything.
Thanks!

Hello Hilo! If you want to make a baby blanket, the measurement is 45" x 45", using soft cotton flannel. If you want to make a Zambia (this is the "skirt" that Mom wraps around herself and her baby to hold baby onto her back) the measurement is 66" x 45". Just finish off the edges with either a small hem on the sewing machine, or serge the edges with a serger. Where are you going to send these items? That will depend on what you want to make, probably.

Our church is starting a sewing group to make dresses & doll for girls in Africa. Any scraps you have would be much appreciated.
