Posted by Wendy Stokes on March 9, 2010 at 4:31 PM

It is just FABULOUS what happens when kids get involved with a project! Sarah Long and her friend Alyssa from Willow Canyon High School in Surprise, AZ were awarded 1st place in Phoenix  for their DECA community service project.

Since mid November 2009 they raised over $10,000 for a well for Water 4 Kids, they collected over 400 pillowcase dress kits, they have made dolls and raised extra money for sewing machines for the village that receives the well! They will now go compete at the national level. Hope 4 Kids International, Hope 4 Women International, Water 4 Kids International and Dress A Girl Around The World congratulates these two wonderful teenagers for their compassion in action. Congratulations & Way to go Sarah and Alyssa. ...."Just sayinnn"
