At Our Fall Sewfest, October 18, 2014 at Chapelwood United Methodist, Houston;
we made and collected 224 finished dresses for Dress A Girl!
We've partnered with several groups of ladies outside of Houston that have contributed greatly to our dress distribution.
The pastor and his wife of The First Philippine Baptist Church of Houston were our guess speakers for the day. They shared photos of the dresses we sent with them as part of their Philippine Project Rebuild. We sent 369 dresses and other items were sent along with school supplies given by The Refreshing Church, Pastor John Murray-Pastor.
They distributed the clothes and supplies July 19, 2014.
Our sewing group was so excited to see their work in action. We love sewing to serve!
Photos to share when I figure out how to post them.

HI Rhnee, if your church wants to take the dresses, please just make sure they give us pictures of the girls receiving the dresses and tell me how many you send:) I'm excited for you. I hope your new friends you met at Carson's party come to your event!

Hi Rhnee, that's great! I very excited for you give me the details and I will try to make it to help out. I'm waiting on a reply from the city of Sugar Land. They will let me know if I can use their facility for free next week. That took alot of time because there was some paper work involved. I spoke to two of the Home Economics classes today and the students in teachers committed to make 200 dresses. I very excited about that, also.Stay in touch.

Regards ,
Gina
