Donna, I know how frustrating it is when you get thin fabric/pillowcases. We do use them if they are in good condition for baby/toddler dresses. Yes. we need more baby/toddler dresses. most dresses we deliver are below the knee-if it says size 6 but the girl is a 5 she gets the dress that fits:) So the sizes are more guestimates:) I hope this helps! I know your event will be great!! God bless!

My first Sew-A-Thon is this Friday at our Church. I have sorted through and washed all the pillowcase/fabric doantions and was frustrated that alot of it is unusable due to the transperency of the fabric. I know modesty and dignity are key, but so is lightweight for shipping and hand delivering. Would it be Ok to use the more see-through fabrics for little dresses-6mos -size 2? Do they wear diapers or underwear of any kind or is it just the little dress that covers them? Another question I have is about the length issue. When I compared your sizes/lengths to the Simplicity Pillowcase Dress Pattern size/lengths-yours were shorter buy 1.5" - 2". Do the dresses need to be below the knee ? What about the toddler sizes. I thought I remembered reading somewhere on your site that you are in need of more smaller size dresses. Is this still the case? Thank you for any helpful input. Getting very exited but a little nervous as well.

Although the video shows 27" for the bias tape we found that to be too short and now use 33-36"

Hi Raechel, I was at the sewing class at church on Thursday and was just ;ooking at your web site and the patterns. Really enjoyed it and the way you described the sewing makes it really easy to follow. I am going to pass this on to other friends. Carol

This is a great instructional video for those of us who can't sew a stitch. We are working diligently getting donations for our March 27 sew date here in Houston.
