We've been told by village pastors that giving a girl a new dress raises her dignity as well as how she is viewed by others. They also say that our label on the "outside" of the dress indicates to predators that this girl is under the care of an organization. We don't have stats on this but feel if the label saves one--it is worth the extra effort and expense!
