About Me
I'm Stacie Cannon and I'm so excited to get involved with Dress a Girl! I live in Bixby, OK. I have set a goal to sew a dress a week to donate. Next summer I will be traveling to Okoa Rescue, an orphanage in Uganda, and I plan on giving every single girl a new dress. I've been asked by friends to make How To videos for the God's Best Dress. That seems like a fun project to work on in the fall after the kids (I have 4) go back to school. I teach sewing camp to a group of fashion loving tweens. I also gather new and gently used pretty dresses to donate to the Tulsa Foster Family Resource Center.

About Me
I am a retired psychiatric RN. My husband and I are from Louisiana and we retired and moved to California to be near our children and grandchildren. After retiring my friend at our local quilt shop taught me how to quilt so now I spend my time quilting, traveling or taking care of grandchildren. It's a nice life.

Saw the Dress a Girl at a quilt shop while traveling and brought the idea home to our local quilt club. We make dresses at the quilt shop on Wednesdays and Fridays. We're working on our first 100 with 200 has our current goal. |

About Me
I have always loved sewing, and after retiring from 17 years in childcare, I was looking for a way to have a ministry with children that might utilize this creative outlet. It was so exciting to discover Dress A Girl Around the World, as it gives me a chance to help little girls in poverty situations "shine" in a dress made just for them with love and prayers! (I also do graphic design for teachers and love to garden!)

I have sewn dresses and sent them to Barbara, and I'll be delivering another batch to the DAG in Santa Cruz this September. I sent 12 dresses recently to Africa with friends going on a ministry there.. |

About Me
I live in a tiny town in North Texas a short distance from the Red River. A dear friend started a DAG group in Gainesville and we decided to expand westward. We are one group with two meeting places. We sew dresses in Nocona, TX on the first and third Monday every month. A lady in our group has started using the small scraps to make lap quilts for a local nursing home. God is blessing people exponentially through Dress a Girl.

About Me
I have been sewing since I was in high school. I have been looking for a way to serve the Lord and to serve others with the gift He has given me. This seems like such a joyous way to do it. I am a grandmother of four wonderful grandchildren, I have always loved sewing for them. We live in sunny Hillsborough County Florida.

I have begun to sew dresses. My daughter has an American Heritage troop, we have discussed seeing if the girls could also become involved with sewing for young ladies through Dress a Girl. |
