About Me

God has led me to this ministry and I am enjoying making dresses and letting others know about the need of these little girls around the world. I am a high school administrative assistant by day and dress maker by night, working diligently to provide cute dresses to the girls of the world. I have 2 boys, ages 16 and 9 and always wanted a little girl to sew for. Now I have a world full of them! I love to quilt and belong to a quilt group named "The Foremothers" since we are 4 mothers but also because we have learned to make do when things run short and we need to improvise.

I am very excited about what God is doing and very glad that I can be a part of it. I would love to have correspondence with anyone who is doing likewise!

In Christ,

Laura

It is my hope that I can make a pitch to the girls catholic school, Mercy in Middletown to see if the girls there would like to learn to sew and make dresses too! I just need to pray for courage to take that step and ASK. I dont usually like to be so bold, but for Jesus I will. Pray for me!

About Me

I am a work at home mom of three gorgeous children.  I teach sewing and craft classes as well as work for a Real Estate Company from home. I recently held a "Dress A Girl" Event at my church and invited all the women who had taken my sewing classes.  We had a great time and made a lot of dresses!

I run a small business teaching sewing lessons to adults and children. After about a year of sewing lessons I decided it was time to give back.

About Me

My name is Nia Martay and I am a highschool student. For school, everyone in my grade is assigned a personal project of our choosing to complete over a period of 8 months in an area that is of interest for them. For my personal project I want to complete 5 beautiful dresses to donote to the Dress a Girl Around the World program.

I want to sew 5 dresses to donate to Dress a Girl Around the World! I chose to do this project as part of my 'personal project' for school. I think it's a great way to get involved with something I am passionate about.

I was getting ready to sell or give away some good quality cotton quilt fabric because I wasn't using it when I heard about Dress a Girl and I LOVE making little girls dresses but really had nothing to do with them so now I can sew them and donate them!

About Me

I have been a dental assistant for 27 years and do sewing and embroidery since I was a little girl. I really enjoy making dresses for the little girls, especially since I don't have any children of my own. It's fun to sew cute things!:)

I was introuduced to DAGATW by my neighbor who gave me a lot of material that she couldn't use, and I bought a bunch of little tops at Goodwill and made tee shirt dresses that turned out darling.

About Me

I am retired and live in Durban South Africa.  I have two sons Hilton and Myles. After reading about DAG in a UK magazine I found the website and right then decided  I needed to do something more meaningful with my spare time. I sew some dresses, but have a local unemployed woman, Deborah, who sews as well.  We get donations of pillowcases and a bit of cash and she earns an income and she donates all the dresses.  I hope to teach another unemployed woman to sew.  Thank you DAG for the inspiration and continue with this wonderful project. X Joy

About Me

Hello, My name is Hannah. I'll be 14 in February. I love sewing and I have 5 younger sisters, so I get plenty of practice :). My dream is to go to India and take care of unwanted children living in the slums of cities like Kolkata and New Delhi. When I came across this website, I instantly knew that I wanted to help.
