About Me

I started sewing in high school some 20 something years ago. I love it. I started sewing for my 3 boys and 1 niece I was raising. They love the Pajamas with matching lap quilt. Now I have about 8 different machines. When I turn on my sewing machine it's like someone is singing to me.

About Me

The Sewing Library is a Facebook group created in May 2011. Since it began only a few months ago we have quickly grown to over 500 members from Australia, New Zealand & beyond. The groups sewing skills vary from beginner to those who have been doing it many years & those who also sew for business too.

We share advice, fabric & sewing bargains, links to tutorials & patterns but in general it's become a very active little community with a lot of daily traffic. Friendships have been been formed between complete strangers & we all gain so much for The Sewing Library thanks to all the wonderful, supportive members.
