Whale of a Time!
This little t-shirt was purchased for $1.28 at Kohl's. I had the dot fabric on hand. I think it looks like ocean bubbles.

Kerry, I'll clue Karen in to check out your dresses. They are adorable. Karen's tutorial and the interfacing and pleating instructions and the ties make the dresses look professional! Sew on!

Kerry, this is a great t shirt dress! Did you, perhaps, use the tutorial by Karen in Virginia? A little girl will love it !

YES! I was inspired by Karen's tutorial for the t-shirt dress and now, I am always looking for little bargain shirts. The tutorial was great: I like the length of the shirt so it looks more like a dress and less like a t-shirt with a skirt attached. Ironing on the strip of interfacing makes all the difference: I make it an inch wide and it works like a charm. The ties are the finishing touch. I hope Karen gets to look at some of the dresses her tutorial inspired! This was the easiest dress I made but my favorite.
